| 1991 | Publikum d.d. is established in January 1991. |
| 1993 | Publikum d.d. becomes a member of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. |
| 1998 | Publikum receives, for the first time, the “Central European Award for Excellence” from the reputable international financial magazine, Euromoney, and is proclaimed the best brokerage house in Slovenia. |
| 1999 | Publikum receives the “Central European Award for Excellence 1999” from the reputable international financial magazine, Euromoney, and is proclaimed the best brokerage house in Slovenia. |
| 2000 | Publikum receives the “Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2000” as the best brokerage house in Central and Eastern Europe. |
| 2001 | At the end of 2001, Publikum expands its operations to the territory of Serbia and Montenegro through the establishment of a brokerage house, Beopublikum a.d., in Belgrade. |
| 2002 | Publikum once again receives the ”Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2002” from Euromoney magazine, with the explanation that it is well- known for its professional team of analysts and is well-connected with foreign investors, as well as highly respected due to its independent status. |
| 2004 | Euromoney Awards for Excellence proclaims Publikum and its daughter company, Beopublikum, the best local partner and best M&A house in Serbia and Montenegro. |
| 2005 | Publikum Holding d.o.o. is established in July 2005 as the holding company of the Publikum Group. Publikum Holding d.o.o. establishes a strategic partnership between the Publikum Group and Pomurska dru¾ba za upravljanje skladov with the acquisition of a 50% equity stake in Pomurska dru¾ba za upravljanje d.d.. |
| 2006 | Publikum upgrades its current portfolio and launches active portfolio management services and private wealth management services. It also starts establishing private capital fund management services. In the same year it introduces five new mutual funds: Publikum Balkan, Publikum Azijski tigri (Publikum Asian Tigers), Publikum Nova Evropa (Publikum New Europe), Publikum Sci & Tech and Publikum USA. |
| 2007 | Adoption of the Corporate Strategy for the period ending in 2011 and confirmation of strategic goals. The establishment of Publikum Korpfin d.o.o. and the transfer of corporate transactions consulting operations from Publikum d.d. to the newly established company. Complementing the portfolio with additional consulting services. Launching of the Publikum-sponsored private equity fund. |
| 2010 | On 22.3.2010, all brokerage services and the asset management arm were moved to a separate entity named Alta. Publikum merged these activities with its two closest competitors and so Alta operates as one of the largest financial institutions in Slovenia. |
